    On two different occasions, I have rented cars in the winter in Minneapolis with horrendous tires. The first time, they were basically bald. The second time, it was an HRR with low profile tires. Both were disasters in the snow. Now, I always check tire size and condition when renting (at least in the winter).

    I had a Hyundai Accent & some guy Slammed into me then pushing me into the guy in front of us,the car was Totaled but my son & I came out -w- no major injuries & I bought a Nissan Sentra,I rented one after the crash & liked it and felt it was a little safer,I never had a bad rental car..
