The "poor ride quality" that was atributed to the 2011 KIA Sportage and Sorento's were early models, and KIA has added brand new "Dual Chamber Damper Shocks" which makes a better riding vehicle, and yet when sporty driving is called for, they actually adjust for a firmer handling situation.
The 18" wheels are just a nice, unexpected touch like so much more of the standard and optional goodies this CUV is blessed with. And a Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick Rating!
And the 100,000 mile warranty is just icing on the cake! Plus the reliability is outstanding, and KIA just spent $1 Billion on a new Georgia factory to make cars! Made in USA...KIA!

Why does the KIA Sportage have to have 18" wheel tire combo? We are talking about some serious money here when it comes time to replace the tires.
Surely this has to contribute to the poor ride quality that I've read about in many articles on the KIA Sportage.

Defintely a good thing, the current Sportage is not bad, but it needs an engine that brings some much needed power.
