She looks real madd. I'm gonna keep my opinion to myself on this one.

How old are all of you?? Comments like "those who feel the absolute need to tell others how to live their lives are the least likely to follow their own advice"...So, are you saying it is wrong for MADD to send the message that drunk driving is wrong? No one has the right to drink then drive with my children and I on the road, thank you very much! There ya go, I'm telling you what to do! If I see anyone drinking then grabbing their keys, you better believe I will be the first to speak up and make sure they don't get the chance to turn the key. Grow up people! One bad apple does not spoil the tree.

Never seems to fail - those who feel the absolute need to tell others how to live their lives are the least likely to follow their own advice. Drunk drivers are all the same - they KNOW that drinking doesn't affect their driving because they can handle their liquor. Well, I can only hope that if this woman made any money off of MADD she is fined double that amount by the court and loses her license for about ten years so that somebody else will have to drive her to the MADD meetings.

This is typical of the people that wants their 15 minutes of fame.. They only do this hoping to get in limelight. Now Debra you can really get there and show your aggression and support the liberals. Maybe they will vindicate you. And for the public, how long will it be before the ACLU decides to take up cases like this? She held a position you cannot treat her like that!

Can imagine the 'love child'that would be turned loose on the earth if she hooked up with Nick Nolte? Ewwwww....

all she had was 4 beers? Cripes I wouldn't get behind the wheel if I had just ONE beer, much less 4. With drunk driving there is absolutely no room for error or mistakes, so she can't claim "it just happened this once". How many "just once" victims are lying 6 feet under right now? My brother for one...undoubtedly thousands upon thousands more. Shame on her...but definitely not shame on MADD. They do such good, wonderful things for the mission of eliminating/reducing drunk driving... The CAR COMPANIES hold the key to eliminating drunk driving, but until they grow the balls to take action, counless innocent victims will die. Sad.

A perfect example of "Do as I say, not as I do." This will be something to live with! Why are law enforcement officers not arrested and publicized like this when they drive after drinking? I know there are a few, at least, that are over the limit!

She'll probably open a branch of DAMM --- Drunks Against Mad Mothers.

  • gene Posted: 3/4/2011 12:46pm PST

Well, let's not go crazy over this one incident. One MADD leader from a local chapter driving drunk isn't like the national president doing the same thing. It's ironic, but it's not indicative of a group that I assume does a lot of good for this world.

Time for DAMM, Drunks against Mad Mothers. I love know-it-alls who succumb to their own stupidity.

As a infrequent home drinker that often frequents Crown Liquors - in S. Fla since before even the Coca-Cola Cowboy days, can I get Debbie's email?
    -
Clearly I'm shopping at the wrong package store, though she may suggest Big Daddy's.........another SoFlo mainstay for adult beverages.
    -
    Holla ya boy, Deb!
    -
And Nelson.......you be quiet about Florida (SMILE).
    -
It just so happens that, in the Gainesville area and rural points north (that I am fond of BTW), a few drinks ALWAYS preceed a trip to local pastures for some cow-tipping.
    -
But I do concur, in that: Thank God she didn't kill or cripple anyone.

    LOLz MAAD!
The people who point at others the hardest are the ones that have the most to hide.

wonderful. I live in gainesville for most of the year and this kind of thing is absolutely expected of the people that live here. I've almost been run over on several occasions just trying to get on/off the bus here. This type of thing just brings the worst kind of attention to gainesville (the only reason i live here is to attend the university of florida)
