I bought a 2007 Acura TL in early '09, when i came back from an Iraq deployment. After two years, i absolutely love it; i still get compliments from strangers. The 2012 TL model looks like a toyota camry and has drifted away from the sporty, chiseled look of the 3rd gen TLs. It doesn't look as aggressive as my 2007 acura TL, but i applaud Acura for making changes from the horrid 4th Gen models. Regardless, when i start searching for a new car, i'll definitely check-up on Acura, because their knack for revolutionizing the way sports sedans look may very well have skipped a generation or two. Good luck Acura, i'm rooting for you!

@ Kevin and Sandra - Thanks for the incisive comments. There's no question the new Acura TL look generates a love it or not emotion in consumers. The final denominator will be how TL does in sales. For that, we'll have to wait a while. Thanks, again for commenting.

what is Acura doing indeed ?? Has the entire design team gone on a drinking binge ? Shame on them for destroying the look of a fabulous car ... I have a 2006 TL and the new 2012 TL's looks don't even come close.

I have a 2007, much Better looking than this car! What is Acura doing? They insist on that butt ugly chunk of metal on the front. I'm looking at a BMW now.
