    I have driven both 2012 ford f450 and chevy g3500 as we are looking at ambulance chassis and the 6.7 power stroke has more torque than the duramax, you could feel the turbo kick in big time on the ford so those that say the duramax is better have never driven the ford, more get up and go from 35-70 mph

    one other note i used to have a 2008 chevy silv. 3500 dually pulling a 32' horse trailer, started having elec. probs, got 2011 f350 lariat dually no comparison pulling hills quiet, smooth one h of a truck

    I'll take the Ford. They have fixed their transmission problems, and they have a better track record. As for computers... Sorry hillybilly... GM has more computers and electrical problems than Ford. Why do you think it is so hard to change a radio in a GM? It's because there is a computer in the radio that controls functions of the car. I work in the automotive electronics field. GM has also gone way of using a Databus system. This means, a computer controls EVERYTHING in the car. This causes a lot of problems. This is done so you will need a GM mechanic, like me, to fix your car. By the way, Chrysler is even worse.

    i like the gmc/chevy...always been fan of chevy. ford is alright but all of my gm trucks have over 300,000 miles and the duramax is mated with the allison. some might say gm lacks interior quality. but i personally don't like all the computers ford has in their trucks. you expect me to believe that those computers will still be working and functional in 5 to 6 years. i don't know about you but up here in montana, our trucks see everything from negetives in the winter and high 90's to triple digits in the summer. between the dirt, dust, and water our trucks encounter theres no way a computer would ever last.

    AS LONG AS FORDS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIER TRANS.I LL KEEP ON DRIVING TRUCKS WITH ALLISONS
