    Sean ... I understand you only had so space to work with, but you should have mentioned whether or not these transactional prices included any new or additional incentive or not, as well as what percentage of the MSRP these reductions represent. Had you done so I suspect a completely different story would have emerged - a much more complete and meaningful story.

    Totally sensationalistic and misleading headline. To elaborate on what "duh" has said Mercedes sales are up 25% so far this year. Giving somebody a $2000. bigger discount on a $100,000 or 1400 bigger discount on a 40,000 2010 car because the 2011s will be here soon is perfectly reasonable and not a "fire sale" as intimated by the author.     about now is when they launch the 2011 models, so it makes sense to drop the 2010 price
