To me the biggest distraction is the screaming kids in the third row :-(

I love your photo of the British traffic accident, especially the pedestrian and the bicyclist crossing the highway... That's what driving on the wrong side of the road does to you...

I thought the road rage comment interesting. From what I've seen over the years, most road rage was sparked by near fatal occurrences that were blown off as nothing by the target of the road rage. As a hypothetical, a person decides to illegally start passing at the end of a passing lane, comes within inches of causing an accident and then when other drivers honk, has the bad judgement to do the finger or slams on the brakes or somesuch and almost kills everyone once more. Doesn't make people very happy. Happens a lot in Oregon. Or the person who cuts off someone else and they run into a concrete bridge abutment because there is nowhere to go? (I know of one incident where that happened, almost killing the driver.) Someone else chasing them to get their license is no doubt "road rage" today...

I like the fact the photo is of the U.K. We have so many drivers here who are seriously deluded about their driving ability. From my experience in the U.S., drivers there seem so much calmer and easier going. Maybe here in the U.K. we're just frustrated with having such small, underpowered cars.

Fix the danged roads Philly so I don't have to swerve across 4 lanes every other mile to survive.
