    Crossovers are a joke anyway. They're nothing more than a way overpriced car. They're for the yuppy type who don't wanna be called "soccer mom". The publick should really wake up to these automotive marketing scams.

    interesting stuff. when married with your frugal shopper post from the other week about cpo, seems like doug's comment above is really relevant/interesting. may be a buyer's best bet vis a vis getting a crossover at a solid price.

    That's good to know. Haven't the carmakers slowed down production enough yet on the big trucks to put them in shorter supply and not have to keep cutting the price? I don't get it.

    If you don't mind used, the few 2010 Saturn Outlooks built are hitting the market as former rentals. I just picked up a very well equipped XR with only 12,000 miles that was likely pushing a $40,000 sticker for just under $30,000. Certified, it carries darn near the same warranty and it was nearly $5,000 less than comparably equipped used Traverses.
