    What no mention of the Big # EV efforts? No wonder all consumers only think the Japanese are operating in this space...hope they enjoy walking home or waiting 12 hours for their Leaf to recharge after they spent two hours pushing it to an available electrical outlet....get real

    ...or the Feds could scrap all that and just impose a gas tax and let the market do the rest. That would make real sense, but we Americans are ninnies and like taxes unaccountably lumped together, like market-warping tax credits and like special deals that don't appear to have any costs but are in reality exhorbitantly expensive.

    More than 90% of my family transportation needs would be satisfied by the 100 mile range of Nissan Leaf. I can't wait for 4/20 - I'm actually going to sign up for this sucka :-)
    Chevy Volt is for rich people, for those who only have two kids (I just had my third one), and dreamers though I hope it will come true for some one day.
