You know what's truly sad is I have a 2005 Pathfinder that's exhibiting the same fuel sending unit problems as the recalled models and they insist it's not covered and the dealer I bought it from said they know it's the same problem and are confused as to why the 2005's are not included in this recall. Unless something happens and quick about it, they're definitely not going to see me as a returning buyer.

CR love affair with Nissan? Are you kidding me? Nissan gets no love from CR.
Re the recall on the Titan, Armada, etc. This is 180,000 vehicles in the US. And there are no accidents. It is precautionary. It is no where in the same ballpark as Toyota knowing about their acceleration problems and negotiating quick fixes the NHTSA.
The only reason Chrsyler has the smart pedal, just as Nissan does, is that it was owned by Mercedes.

It's time for Consumer Reports and others to be objective on imports. The love affair with Toyota and Nissan is more political than automotive. I haven't seen the wholesale recalls on Chrysler Products, yet they are panned repeatedly. I've owned only Chrysler products and they have been flawless, much, much better than my friends BMWs which are constantly having problems. Time to recommend the "no-recall" Sebring with the cheap, but reliable and safe interior. Buy a Sebring and live. Will Consumers give the upcomming, redone and upgraded mid-sized Chrysler(forced to change its name) a fair shake?- I doubt it.

RE: Scott Thomas - Are you posting/whining on all Auto sites about your G8 recall? Can't tell you how many times I've read this post. BTW - I also have a 2008 G8 GT and promptly received a recall notice in the mail and had it taken care of in an hour at the dealership. Give it a rest already.

Thanks and corrected. Somewhere my eighth geography teacher is weeping. But then, he tended to do that a lot.

This is a side note to the writer of this article. If you weren't already aware, Canada and Mexico are part of North America.
