As Nelson Mandela said "resentment is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill your enemies." In other words negative emotions like anger and resentment only cause you, the person feeling these emotions, harm.

I agree with goat1000 algae production will cause our future refineries to much smaller, more regional, and more of them. Algea will be manufactured in the most effcient way for the region. This will have the added benifit of cooling global tensions by reducing the jocking for limited resoures, less profitering and reducing the dependence on a few foreign countries who we would otherwise not have to apease. If you think that algea is to expensive to manufacture, consider the expense of all of the oil platforms in the gulf, all of the tankers moving oil halfway accross the world, and the expense of refining that oil in a gulf refinery and piping it across the country where it can finaly be trucked to your local service station.

We heard this same garbage 40 years ago. Guess what? We have more proven reserves today than we did then. Electricity is an awful way to power a vehicle, because of the problem of energy density. Biodiesel from algae has more promise, if you insist we will have insufficient petroleum.

Even the biggest oil moguls in the world have to know that oil is going to run dry, and that, certainly, by 2050 we'll be three-quarters of the way, or closer, to no more oil.
