Ford has always been the one to utilize some of it's foreign technology far more then the other brands. Although they should have left the Pinto on the drawing board much like GM should have forgotten about the Vega when they both had great cars in other divisions around the world.
Yes, Ford has really made a come back, but I still can't get that Up State Michigan newspaper out of my head that Hank purchased. That is an incident that should not be repeated.
    Good article, Denis

Ford is the only US mfg. listening today. GM still has the "What's good for GM is good for the country" attitude and Chrysler is wandering around behind the little animals. After 30 some GM cars & trucks, we bought our first Ford products. All five have been Mustangs (traded the two V6s in on GTs) so we now have an 07,08 & 09. Vote with your wallet.

Very interesting observation, Richard. I suppose it also bodes well for Ford that they didn't dip into the tax payer's pockets with government bail out, as did GM and Chrysler. Frankly, I've never really been much of a Ford man -- even though you'd have to pry my old Bronco from my cold, dead fingers -- but I like Ford's recent moves.
