Not! the Enzo, SSR, and IQ make the list? How about every GM car from the late 80's and early 90's? Morgan aero 8, 1979 MGB, mini moke, festiva? The citation, mangusta....

'73 and '74 AMC Matador two-doors... I can't recall if that hideous thing lasted into the '75 model year or not. The Pacer and Gremlin were gorgeous by comparison.

What a ridiculous list. It reads like a list of anything that was not cookie-cutter generic in its day. Trying new designs (whether they are mass-market successful or not) keeps things interesting on the roads!

this list is awful, and they also forgot some serious offenders
basically every oldsmobile made from 1990 forward
the minivans are awful and the achieva is disgusting
also missing is some of the late 80's and early 90 audi's
and even the 1990 lincoln town car, bloated, overchromed, and plain ugly

I agree that Business Week has no business rating car designs.

How can they call the El Camino ugly? A lot of these cars were good for their day. Modern cars are pretty ridiculous too. And to add insult to injury, the El Camino was my dad's car when I was a little kid. Booo!

I am so late to the game on this post, but won't sleep if I don't say that you should not have let this go by so quickly. This list is horrible and clearly thrown together. Anybody who understands a thing about cars would not call the V shaped nose and the "scooped out doors" of an Enzo "overkill". This B-Week article should have been lambasted!
