    Good Content.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but seems to me the xB hit hard times when they replaced the 1.5L with the 2.4L and mileage went down the tubes. Now, they will launch the iQ with just one powerplant, despite the aggressive body kit. Would it not be smart to offer BOTH mills? That way, dealers can pimp the 2.4L models and boost margins, and still have something to offer to high MPG customers. The competition is getting tougher in this segment, and Scion should stay one step ahead.

I don't think anything's written in stone as far as the iQ's powerplant is concern. However, yes, it would make sense to offer a little diversity -- especially given the Scion brand, which encourages enthusiasts and other detail-oriented types.

    Hi Richard,
Given that Toyota is phasing out the 2.4 liter engine worldwide, can we expect the Scion xB to get the new design 2.5 liter engine and it's associated 5 speed transmission before the xB gets a major body re-design?
