Suzuki actually grew in sales this year in the USA, plan on building their own replacement for the XL7 in Japan to replace the GM built XL7, have a new 2010 SX4 SportBack on the way, an all new car called the Kizashi sloted between the Corolla and Camry, are bringing to the USA a new small car called the Swift which has been the #1 selling car in Japan for 6 years, and one of the best selling cars in Europe!

Suzuki is really impressing! The SX4 was already a great value, now with all these improvements and the new fastback model that gives a great range to select from.
I've been debating between the Suzuki SX4 and the Honda Fit for about 8 months now.
Although the SX4 fastback probably is the closest match to the Fit.
I've test driven both the SX4 and the Fit. I think I like the shifter a bit better in the Fit, but overall, the SX4 provides a better ride, and the SX4 definitely feels more torquey in the low end. If I ONLY wanted a car for around the city, then I would probably say Honda Fit, but since I do alot of outdoor activities, the Honda Fit just doesn't measure up to the SX4 with AWD. The Fit is a good car, but the SX4 fits my active lifestyle.
Only question now is should U get a great deal on an end of the year 2009, or wait for the 2010 models to arrive? lol
