Too bad... a 5/100 warranty just gets lost in the noise of similar warranties from other manufacturers. The way to have made a marketing splash would've been to keep and make the lifetime warranty transferable. I have the lifetime warranty (and a lifetime wrap on everything else) on three of the five Chrysler products I own, and I'll probably keep two of the three for ever. Chrysler probably figured-out there were a bunch of us out here who felt this way. Personally, I think it will be great fun to get the evaporator core in my '07 Crossfire roadster replaced in ten or fifteen years for the $50-deductible!

Looks like a good decision. What I heard was that the lifetime warranty was a paperwork nightmare and that putting the warranty on the vehicle makes life easier and more sense. I'll be in the market for a new SUV next year and right now it looks like a new Jeep and this warranty only makes a stronger case for that thinking. Hope more buyers agree and shop Chrysler. From my experience, they won't be sorry.
