    I've asked many friends how much their insurance payment would have to go down for them to accept this. They all say, "Never. Hell, no!"
    Then I rephrase the question: "How much would you PAY to enable this for your newly-licensed, 16-year-old son? The impetuous one?"
    They'd ALL pay.
    It'll be parents and insurance companies that launch stuff like this. But it'll never be mandatory. I suspect it'll just save you a noticeable amount of $$$$$ ...

    People in the US would throw a fit if this were forced upon us of course but I could see a market for it for parents who want to limit the ability of teens to get themselves into trouble. It would probably work better to design it to slow the kid down if he or she is coming up on a tight bend too fast rather than always follow the speed limits.
