    "we shall see...."

"The $20,000 range" = front wheel drive. No one manufactures a successful large front wheel drive sedan. This may, however, be an OK solution for driving in snow country. Unfortunately, VW continually fails on the engine/drivetrain combos they bring here wrt value. VW will always be constrained by the Audi relationship, to the displeasure of US customers. And now that Porsche is involved, we won't be getting the Bluesport either, even if they offer it in Europe.

    "VW Customer Service"

I would be concerned about VW's lack of customer service with a new model. View my VW experience at: http://www.reesphotos.com/VW/

Wait a minute. You can barely find a decent Jetta or whatever VW wants to call it for $20k much less a Passat or the new stylin Passat (aka CC). The Passats are barely under $30K. Heck, that stupid little Eos can hit $40k. So VW is going to build this big sleek sedan that everyone is giddy over and it will be in the $20k range? Call me a cynic but I have my doubts.
