Looks like Chrysler has exceeded expectations of every constituency, except the "radical greens". When you read the sum total of all of this Jeep's features, capabilities and improvements it's shockingly impressive. I look foward to the opportunity to own this one. I think millions of Jeep/Fiat customers world-wide will agree. Chryslers' future has been assured with this incrediable SUV. The best ever? Time will tell!

    "diesel mechanic"

Has hell frozen over? Has the lowly Chrysler finally taken a much needed sip of coffee and waken up? Only time will tell, as they sure haven't given us much to write home about as of late. As far as the best SUV ever... or if Chrysler's future has been assured... they have a LONG way to go, to convince me. The mark of quality hasn't been their strong point for a LONG time... namely transmissions. Thus the reason I won't think about buying one. I DO like the option of a diesel in it though.

Every car manufacturer is focusing more fuel efficient vehicles and what does Chrysler do? It releases a HUGE SUV and expects people to get excited.. No wonder this company is finished, they have no idea of where the market is heading. Laughable.

Dave B, I'm one who's all excited by the new Jeep. This is what I've been waiting for , not some boring "green machine". Yes Dave, there is life outside PC-Ville.

"Just the right sized suv for me"

A wakeup call to some of you negative responders,
not everyone can fit or use one of your tiny suv's, which really don't accomplish what some of
us want or need. If you get your yard sticks out, this suv is just the right size, not too little and not too big. I was involved in a headon crash, and wouldn't be here anymore had I
been driving one of your precious little "green"
or "smart" cars. I look forward to seeing this
    one live and in person.
