    Ford CEO Mulally has embraced the Toyota vision and has really begun to pull away from the rest of the struggling domestics. As much as I love Toyota and Scion, I must say that Ford is a presence to be reckoned with. And this vehicle is part of the reason. Not the vehicle itself, but the innovation that is taking place at Ford that hasn't for a long time...

    Ford is doing better for two main reasons. First, it knew it would be in bad shape so two years ago it begged and borrowed all it could, when banks were still loaning money. Ford is also thinking globally, taking advantage of its international resources - and unlike GM which is also doing them same - it does not have to worry about brand overlap... While the connect and others like it may look cool, when the roads are littered with bread boxed shaped cars, it will get old fast (like they are in Europe...)

    This trucklet is ugly. But at least Ford is moving in the right direction. All around the world, from Europe to Latin America, buyers can find better, more interesting and better handling/performing Fords than here in the U.S. Now, Ford, bring over the minivan from Europe, the Ka, the Ecostar SUV from MExico, the convertible Focus...
