    I'm having trouble seeing it mix both a mid engine and 2+2 seating. Are there any other examples of that configuration?

    Sheetmetal? That seems very odd for a Lotus. Have they ever made anything out is sheetmetal?

    I don't know much about Lotus history. The most I know the the Esprit, "the turbo-cheese"! I liked how they looked though! I think the Lotus Elise has done well and shows good things from Lotus will keep coming.

    Sounds neat. Though "under $100k"... Hopefully a lot under. As a 2+2, it's not gonna have the track-day appeal. And there are a lot of cool cars you can get in the $100k range, and with a heck of a lot more power than a Camry.
    Will this car actually meet crash standards, or will Lotus get another exemption? If it actually meets them, then coupled with the extra seats, bigger engine, actual interior appointments, I'd think this car will weigh a fair bit more than an Elise.
    If it's in the 3,000 lbs range, what kind of performance will that Camry engine offer it? Enough to compete in the $100k price range?
