I've seen this car! Wait, it's coming to me... Oh, yeah, I just saw it at the Honda dealer. First glance with the new front and line through the door handles is a near twin to the new Accord.

If they can translate some of the design from the S-class to the E-class, it is going to be one hell of a SEXY car!

The new benz and old benz styling do not mesh.....at all

  • Jordan Posted: 4/8/2008 9:53pm PDT

    And.....
now i see why the Sebring is so heinous......the germans must like this type of overdone overthetop bs

Where is the outstanding E-class BLUETEC Diesel?????

THIS will be the model most people will buy,

just as they did in the early 80s, when 75% of all mercedes sold were DIESELS, and far inferior diesels to the outstanding Bluetec. REad about it.

Nah, it's a whole lot better looking than the present Accord (which is one of the ugliest cars on the road, a Saturn L200 with Bangle 5-series detailing) but it's not as attractive as the present E-class.

It DOES look like an Accord. So Benz ripped off Honda. But to go one step further, the new Accord looks just like the new Malibu, which hit the street first. Ergo, Benz ripped off Chevy.

    Imagine...

I'll keep my 2006 E500 4matic... the current car is much more elegant.

At very first look when I saw the pic, I said, "oh! Mercedes is now going to idealize the Saab or Accord?". But whatever they are doing, the are going to made a beauty.

    Looks like an old Dodge.

I first thought the S-Class was ugly, but now its gorgeous. The C-Class is sweet, but the interior sux. This car is probably going to be awesome, as the market it competes is so competitive. Personally, I'll keep my 2008 E-Class, it is simply a Classic.

The new E is keeping with current MB styling and just getting more ugly with each new incarnation. What are they thinking in the styling department these days? I'll hurry and order the current E class before they go out of production.

If this is any indication of what the 2010 W-212 is going to look like, it is almost like a mid-size S-Class and in my thinking if this is what is going to be produced, Mercedes-Benz has done themselves proud and it would be a real winner, especially the E-63 AMG. I like all the new saftey features they are adding to the new E and taking some of the features from the S-Class.

It doesn't give me the urge to own one. I much prefer the look of current E-model I had since 2004. Is it not going to have SBC? What a pity! How about solar panel and more fuel friendly features?
