Tata has promised not to bastardize t hese historic (yet very flawed) brands and their strong character, but they insist on making one name change,

They want to rename the miserable, overpriced, failed Ford Contour-clone, fake, badge-engineered

    Jaguar X-Type

    the "Tata Caca".

    (just kidding, of course)

Say goodbye to another couple of good brand names...

Although the Ford influence on Jag and Land Rover was a mixed blessing, neither one would be here now if not for Ford and Jac Nasser. Not that it was a perfect union or good business decision for Ford, but it certainly kept these two marques from disappearing.

Your choice if that was a good or bad thing. I personally like the Land and Range Rovers, except for their price tags and anemic, fuel-swilling powertrains (except in the over the top models).

NOW!; I can by a "JAGUAR" built by slave and ignorant work force!

At a very reasonable retail price of: $ 6, to 10, 000.00 dollars[ whoops] excuse me "EURODOLLAR".

I guess you are highly educated (not an ignoramus) - I figured out by the way you spelled "buy" as in buy a Jaguar.

Hopefully Ford kept some technology for Lincoln? Ford, get rid of Mark Fields, he's out of his league. Use this 2.3B wisely, it could finance your future!

    Tata Caca, pretty good Thor!
