I doubt this silliness will shore up Scion's sagging sales and failed strategy (many more adults and boomers buy their underpriced junk than the intended underage teens and college students (with the intent to hook them to gradually more expensive Toyotas and Lexuses)

If only older adults are buying the "underpriced junk", then why does Scion have the lowest average age of any brand on the market today? Just because you don't get it doesn't mean the rest of the world should stay ignorant to trends as well. Btw, the sales are lagging because Toyota decided to go too mainstream with the 2nd gen. instead of continuing to push the creative envelope. Hopefully the 3rd gen. will get back to what made them successful to begin with. I think this is a step back in the right direction.

You have not looked at scion sales lately. They have TANKED. Analyze THAT. And all other toyotas of the same size and HP have NOT.

I work for a dealer that sells a large variety of vehicles, but the ones that sell the most ARE Scions. They sell like hot cakes. The cars concept was aimed at affordability not age! Toyota wanted a sporty car that can be affordable in our tanking economy! We sell so many Scions that we are rebuilding our entire Scion section for 15mil.

Just a REALITY CHECK for all you "know it alls" that always say bad things about Scions and their owners.

PS- I also own a Scion.
