Infiniti EX Concept Takes on X3

Infiniti’s concept EX has broken cover before theNew York auto show, and sources say the new concept has been designed to take on the likes of BMW’s X3 and the Acura RDX.

The EX comes to the Javits Center next week, built off the FM rear-drive platform that underpins the Nissan Z and Infiniti G37. The crossover will offer all-wheel drive along with a version of the 3.7-liter V-6 installed in the new G37. A diesel engine may be an option in European markets.

New technology on the EX will include blind-spot warning systems and lane-departure warning systems.
