A new Shelby
GT500 Mustang with 500 horsepower, a supercharged 5.4-liter V-8, a six-speed
manual transmission, high-performance Brembo brakes, and other high-performance
upgrades joins the Mustang lineup for 2007. In addition, there’s a new GT
California package, a new GT appearance package with bright rolled exhaust tips,
an engine cover with a Pony emblem and a hood scoop, iPod jacks on all models,
an optional DVD navigation system, Sirius satellite radio, and two new colors,
Grabber Orange Clearcoat Metallic and Alloy Clearcoat Metallic. Base models are
powered by a standard 210-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6 engine. GT models get a
300-horsepower 4.6-liter V-8. A five-speed manual or five-speed automatic are
the transmission choices with either engine. Both V-6 and V-8 GT versions are
available in either coupe of convertible body styles; the high-performance
