Someone’s clearly had some fun with "the world's thinnest VW Beetle,” and "the world's shortest VW Van" - they took four feet (the entire sliding door) out of the van. We don't know why on either, really.

This chopped-and-channelled school bus is from "Lo-Life High."

This couple in their early-sixties Valiant wagon are "Just Married".

The soap markings on the mid-'60s Rambler wagon on the tow-truck hook read: "Next Year’."

We thought the stretched-'57 Chevy was neat, the Toronado Airstream RV was weird, the Corvair with the shaker hood scoop for the front-mounted V-8 was strange...

and the '59 El Camino and Fiat 500 Jolly just looked so wonderful. And you've got to love a garbage truck with pipes like that (loud, too...).

The guy who fathered the Dream Cruise, here standing beside the 1964 Pontiac GTO is - if you don't recognize him - Jim Wangers, who either wrote the words to "Little GTO'' or edited them. Whatever, Wangers was the guy who got that song produced.
