Richard Read
Richard Read
Richard has led an eclectic life, and he has the resume to prove it. Although he spent the first two decades of his life planning to be a high school teacher, Richard eventually got suckered into the twin fields of marketing and development (which honestly aren't as bad as people say). Through it all, he's been writing, penning articles on branding, public relations, travel, film, video games, pop culture, and, of course, cars for Fodor's, Gawker, and numerous points in between. He's also been known to crank out short stories, political speeches, grants, and even technical manuals, as the need arises. Richard's parents are proud that their son drives an American-made car, but they still wish he'd change his own oil. He lives in New Orleans, which is just as wonderful as everyone says. (No, his house didn't flood, but thanks for asking!)
