Over the years, he has served on staff in editorial positions with Motor Trend, Hot Rod magazine, and Super Stock Magazine. In a prior “life,” he was Public Relations Manager for Ford Motor Co., serving stints in both the U.S. and Europe. Mr. McCraw was born in Philadelphia, earned a BS in Journalism at Temple University, in Philadelphia, and learned about life at the legendary dragway in Englishtown, NJ. He is an encyclopedic automotive historian and an accomplished auto photographer. His hobbies include architecture, horticulture, motorcycling and guitar playing. He is a frequent participant in Scottish games and looks striking in a kilt. Among his most prized automotive possessions is a 1950 Mercury coupe he is restoring — slowly.
