Q-I have a 1991 Honda Accord SE. My battery seems not to be charging. The problem started last Saturday. The battery sign lit up, so I went to Wal-Mart to buy a new battery, when I installed the battery everything seemed fine, but the next day the sign lit up again and the car struggled to start, so I took the battery back to Wal-Mart and got a another one but it did the same thing. Can you please help me resolve my problem?

A-What you describe is a classic sign of a defective charging system. The battery is simply a reservoir where electricity is stored. When you use some, it must be replaced. The problems could be the alternator, but you need to have a trained technician using the proper equipment do a thorough diagnosis.
