How do i unlock the radio on my 97 acura rl.?

i recently had a battery change and the radio reset it self. i don't know the code. and i don't have the original book for the car. What can i do ?????

  • you can get it at the dealership, honda or acura - they'll have to take it out to get the serial number so they can find the code though, they may charge you for that, and they may also charge for the code... Read More
  • When I purchased my Acura, it has a small credit card type tag with the code in it hanging on the stereo knob. Its not in the manual. You will need this code every time the power is cut off. When you go to the dealer, you will have to show proof of ownership of the car.
