1985 jetta Do they have 2 fuel pumps? I see an external one and was wondering if there is another in the tank.?

Auto zone or orielys both have them but it sead that 2 maybe needed that's all they could tell me. 1 is 200 and the other is 100 so if there is definitely 2 it would be a total of 300 bucks if I need to change both. I cant find a definite answer. Thanks I was reading one of... Read More

  • Yes, they use a pump in the tank called a transfer pump; heck way back when there was even a recall on some of those transfer pumps.
