My RPM gauge doesnt work in my newly bought 97 vr6 jetta, what are the mph shift points for max acceleration?

normal driving shift points too please =) its not that it doesnt work, its in accurate, like its telling me Im at 5500 rpms when im going 75 in 5th gear, and you can hear the engine is clearly running a lot lower

  • its normally, for me, around 3000 for 70 mph in 5th, and i think a good shift point for fast acceleration is around 5500 or so. yours may be different also because its a vr6. also mine doesnt work on occasion, i replaced the cluster and nothin :( oh well Read More
