dose anybody have any problems with trans on a 2005 Volvo xc 90 suv mine went out at 80,000 miles.?

If your xc90 isa 5 cylinder that is very unusual.BUT if you have a 6 cylinder, not too uncommon.The 6 cylinder xc90 uses a GM transmission,not too bad but I would take the aisin-warner trans (used in volvos for decades) over the gm trans.
