  • I have one. Japanese cars are cheaper to maintain than European so you're way better off with a Lexus than a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, etc. I had an Acura before that, which is Honda, not Toyota, but it ran past 200k miles without any major problems. I think I'll always have a japanese car.
  • Not costly at all if you can afford buying it. It's a great car. If you are worried about insurance, get a quote before buying a car.
