is it normal for a new tacoma to make noise as it accelerates?

we just got a new 2010 tacoma and noticed that after 900 miles, when accelerating, the engine sounds louder as its taking off and seems to take longer to accelerate, I was wondernig if this is normal on new trucks for the first thousand miles?

  • all engines make more noise as the rpms rise but its any thing that doesn't sound like the engine does normally get it looked at you should not be losing power try going to the dealer or a mechanic
