can a tundra 4.0 v8 fit on any kind of 4runner?

  • yea but mpg & power wise its a mistake, youll need a stronger rear end, & if you have a early 90's/late 80's automatic the trans will need replaced as well, if you have a 3.0 v6 get it replaced immediately!!! they are JUNK!!! if you have the 3.4 v6 no worries-have it lightly ported & port matched, headers, good intake...   • technically its a 4.7 Liter V8 (2uz-fe) yes it can fit you just have to go thru some work. here is a example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLg4FT02BiU (in a pickup but basically same chassis) ask that guy on youtube.
  • You have to cut the firewall to make room for the v8...It,s really not worth all the work...Go to www.lcengineering for after market toyota motor stuff.
