i was changing the thermostat on my 1994 nissan quest and the last bolt on the top didnt want to budge so i applied more pressure to try and torque it off and it broke.... the housing is fine but a small chunk with the bolt still in it broke off.... is this a bad thing or... Read More

  • It sounds like you are in deep ---. JB weld will not work there is too much pressure in the system for it to hold.   • If there is enough of the bolt sticking out that you could get a vice grip on you might be able to get it out. Get yourself some "Liquid Wrench" penetrating oil. Apply liberally. Repeat often.   • JB Weld may work for a quick fix, but will not last very long being near extreme temps. Your better off getting a new housing.
