2000 NISSAN MAXIMA, is there a way to take off the GEAR SHIFT KNOB (manual car)?

I don't know if i turn it or if i just pull it off? Does anyone know how?

  • If it is the same as other Nissans, it unscrews, but they use some sort of glue that makes it difficult. It should rotate counterclockwise.
