Honda Civic Sedan 5th Generation Good Racing Car?

I heard this is a good racing car and it is pretty cheap. Is this true?

  • Cheap, Yes, Racing, Not really, Probably ok if racing against another civic or compacts. Civics were designed to be practical and economical cars. Even with engine swaps, mods, and upgrades, yes it does improve its capability, but shortens is lifespan, and is still not considered a racing car nor a sports car.
  • most people don't see civic's as racing cars. i love civics though. with an engine swap, any civic can be a good racing car. especially with a k20 engine.
