04 saab won't start, just clicks, but can't push to jump because it's stuck in park. any thoughts?

2004 Saab 93 Automatic. I cannot start my car. My battery is dead. I am unable to push it out of my garage, because I am unable to shift into neutral..PLEASE help..Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

  • Under the hood by or on the transmission. the shifter cable is hooked to a bracket. Unhook the bracket and shift it to neutral manually. Good luck. Reference:Mechanic shop owner for over 26 years. Read More
  • my old saab had a slot next to the shifter to incert the key so you can take it out of park if the bat is dead, outher than that you can always buy a jump pack.
  • Get a battery charger, charge the battery or if it needs replacing replace it.
