I have a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. Looking for a short ram intake but can only find WRX intakes. Any thoughts?

From the layout of the two engines, the intakes are not interchangeable. Want to find one that works specifically for the 2.5i engine.

  • I would look at Rallitek's site (Rallitek.com) and I guaranty you will find something for your car. They kind of specialize in the N/A Subaru's and have a lot of parts for them. And beware of Vivid. They have screwed over many people and have been banned from pretty much all Subaru forums as vendors for doing so. Read More
  • Just leave the OEM intake on the car! A short ram is not going to do crap for power gains. Only thing that short ram will do is void your warranty and dress up your engine bay. Just say no!
  • For 2.5i, I'd forget about engine mods and focus on suspension mods instead. What can you gain with an intake anyway? Save the $$and upgrade your sway bars to the stock STI ones for cheap. This mod alone will make your 2.5i handle 1000% better.
  • check out vividracing they've got just about everything you want and need for a car.
  • Check links below. The RS forum should have some info. Reference:http://www.xcceleration.com/engine-rs.performance.html http://www.rs25.com
