My 2001 VW Passat has no heat. Water pump and timing belt have been replaced. hoses to heater core OK?

hoses to heater core hot going in and out - water pump replaced within 2 days of buying this used. Don't know if the heat worked before water pump replaced but doesn't work now. Car is not overheating. I have the climate control heat/cool module in this vehicle

  • If the heater hoses are hot going in and out there is heat going to and through the heater core. Sounds like a problem with the control module or the Blend door. It would actually be better if it was the heater core, as the blend door is usually harder to reach to work on. Good Luck
