Why does my Lincoln Town Car die and only uses up the charged battery ?

it shuts off when it uses all the car's light, it's not charging the battery so it only uses the charge it has. It has a new battery and a new alternator....any idea?

You can check battery voltage easily with a cheap voltmeter, it should be about 14 volts when the car is running. Maybe the new alternator is not connected right.   • either its connected wrong or your new parts need to be replace. To check your altornator stick a screw driver beside it if it fall the the altornator is bad if it stands the altornator good.
