is there a manual release for the fuel tank door on a 02 lincoln town car?

  • open the trunk and look right behind the gas tank door, near the antenna, its a wire with a little piece of metal o plastic just pull that. Read More
  • If there is, open the trunk and look on the left or right side for a small string like thing to pull on. Otherwise, I would use a flat head screwdriver...
  • inside the trunk, same side as fuel tank door
  • It will be a thin wire with a bright plastic 'T' handle on the end.
  • CABLE INSIDE THE TRUNK, PULL IT ! Reference:FORD TECH.
