Why my 2002 Mountaineer stalls and then start after a few minutes?

I have a 2002 V8 mercury mountaineer, while I was driving suddenly stalls like if I were turning the key off. Then start over but after a few minutes, but now it doesn't anymore. I already check the battery and works fine. Hope yo can help
