dOES ANY ONE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE IN GAS MILAGE BETWEEN A 4.8 LITER CHEVY EXPRESS VAN AND A 6.0 LITER?

I'm trying to choose between two 2009 express cargo van, 1 lists a 4.8 liter v8 and the other a 6.0 liter v8. I'm currently driving a 1999 5.0 liter V8 which I think gets about 11 mpg fully loaded with equipment

  • The van with the 6.0 liter engine would get better mileage because the motor would not have to work as hard to move the vehicle when loaded. The smaller engine would have to labor harder to get around in, burning more fuel. Read More
