Where does the power steering fluid go in a 2004 Touareg ?

I looked under the hood, and in the owner's manual, and I can't seem to find where to add fluid. The steering is noisy when it's cold outside, and usually subsides after warming up, but I want to check the fluid level, just in case it's low

  • if you are looking at the engine compartment it is on your right hand side. It has a green top on it. you open it and in the inside it has a measuring gauge make sure you use VW fluid touaregs are so picky some touareg leak from the power steering hoses. Reference:Volkswagen Tech Read More
  • In the power steering reservoir. There are plastic panels all over the engine compartment, you may hvae to remove them.
  • call the dealer
  • consult the owners manual!!
