opinions on lincoln mkz?

Im thinking about buying the lincoln mkz. my dad says that the lincoln mkz is for old people. should i buy it anyways? is it really for people? is it "hip" or "stylish" car?

  • You make the car and the car brand becomes you. A younger person driving a Lincoln MKZ is different, unlike everyone else. If that is your style, the Lincoln is your car. The Lincoln brand has never developed a bad reputation that I have heard in all my 25 years in following the auto industry. It continues to be one... Read More
  • I wouldn't call it "hip", but it is stylish. It avoids the "look at me!" sports car showoff look. I think they look better in person than in pictures though. They are built on the same platform as the Ford Fusion. I think the new Fusions look better though, and they are a bit cheaper, but not quite as nice interiors.
  • I side with your dad on this one, might as well get an oldsmobile!! To buy a Lincoln would be like buying the deck chairs on the Titanic while the alarms are going off.
  • not an old people car. more old people drive mustangs then MKZ's. its actually a girlie-car. all small luxury cars are mostly driven by women. if you want a Lincoln get a Towncar or MKS, bigger.
  • buy a Buick Reference:you'll be smart and have minty fresh breath

Other Choices:

The rear-drive cars of this group are much more sporting in terms of driving personality and dynamics. The BMW 3 Series remains a performance benchmark that few can match, including the front-wheel-drive 2009 Lincoln MKZ. The Infiniti G37 comes close to the BMW 3 Series in terms of athleticism, but the MKZ provides more room and value over both. The Audi A4 and Lexus ES 350 are primarily front-drive sedans (the ES is based on the Toyota Camry platform). The Audi is sportier than the Lincoln, but smaller and less comfortable. The Lexus is considerably more sedate than the Lincoln—and the only one in this bunch not to offer optional all-wheel drive—but the ES is Lexus’s comfort-oriented, affordable model.
