  • I think I read that it runs 12:1 compression and you'll need higher octane fuel to keep the engine performing properly. If you lower the octane you risk detonation which is bad for the engine. Stick to high octane, yep.
  • No. use the gasoline that has at least an octane rating of 89 or higher. If you used the regular unleaded your engine will not run quite as good. It's ok to use it every once in a while, but don't use it all the time.
  • Yes you can but you will get less MPG and more noise and less power. For maximum efficiency and output, use premium as recommended.
